help guys he needs a home

Hey guys, I am the previous (recent) owner of Stanley. His pics are in the gallery (puggabull). Anyway, he's 5 months old now, and was recently adopted by another member of this forum bk my husband and I are having a real dry financial time and Stanley needs cherry eye surgery.
The new owners were planning on giving him the surgery, but a member of their family who has dog allergies, has had a really bad reaction to Stanley and his asthema is now out of control. They contacted me, asking me to take Stanley back. I'd LOVE to bk I miss him so much. But our financial situation hasn't changed in the last three weeks since they've had him, and we still can't afford the cherry eye surgery.

We live in Buffalo, NY. He was born on Oct. 26th, 2006 and is 1/2 english bulldog, 1/2 puggle. He needs a permanent loving home. He is obedient, loving, energetic, and great with kids. He is doing much better with the potty training than he was a few months ago in my posts.

Can any of you adopt him?????????? Please contact me ASAP if you are interested. Otherwise, contact jrss13 (the new owner with the allergies) and he can send you more pics of Stanley currently.

This is urgent as Jeff is really having a hard time breathing. We've had local interest in him, but the people interested weren't keeping the best interest of the dog in mind (if you know what I mean.)

Please help!!!!

OMG.... He's beautiful.

If he was in Edmonton, I'd take him in a heart beat. Look at that face.

I sure hope you find someone. How urgent is the cherry eye surgery? Could they not try drops to fight the inflamation until your situation gets better?

I surely would help if I could, but my home is full. Have you contacted any breed rescues? I know he is a mix, but it's worth a try. Good luck.

Jeff's had Stanley on some steroid cream or drops...Apparently the inflamation has subsided a bit from how it was in the pics above, but it's not a long term solution. My big concern is him scratching it. He's had this problem now for about 3.5 weeks and if we wait he could really do some damage to his eye through scratching etc. It's not a threatening situation on its own, but it could get worse through aggrivating the duct, that's why I feel it's only fair to find him a home now, rather than try and deal with it for awhile. I can't even afford the drops..we are trying to move etc...there's a bundle of things adding to our personal situation. It would just be the best thing for Stanley to have a stable, loving home as soon as he can. I really love him, that's why I want him to be joined to his new family soon, whoever they may be. Thanks!

Here is a link to the health section stickies:

The 3rd post lists different programs and organizations that may help with vet bills. Whether you take him back or rehome him, maybe they can come in handy.
He is adorable and I wish you, his current owners and especially him much luck.

I don't know where you're located but my daughter in law is on this forum & they have a puggle because my son wanted a bulldog & she wanted a beagle, they came across this puggle & chose her. I'm wondering if they would be interested??? We're all in WA state though. I'll tell her to look this post up.

Wow if I could get him to Iowa I would take him in a heart beat! The cherry eye surgery at my vet is usually only around $100. I helped a friend pay for one on her American Bulldog.
