staffie stiffness

can someone please help. i have a 7 month old staffie who seems to get abit stiff in the mornings and after exercise. he takes along time to warm up in the mornings and after exercise, he seems to be very stiff so i have to walk him out of it. i have a 9 month old staffie also and she doesnt do anything like this. he is only 7 months old so i am abit worried that it is something serious. he also hurt his front shoulder when he was younger and i have niticed at times, if he moves it a certain way of he twists it somehow, he will hold it up as though he is in extreme agony. i massage it straight away then he is right again till the next time. i know there is a test for this one hereditry disease associated with stafforsds, but doesnt have alot of symtoms to go on. can anyone help. very worried

It may be that he is getting to much exercise for his age, I know I had to be really careful with Nomad when she was growing b/c of the growth plates. I would take him to the vet just to get some X-rays just to be sure. Sorry that's all I know I wish I could help more.
