I know but I also know I can't have another not enough money to go around w/ all the raw I feed. But that look makes my knees get wobbly and all my rational thoughts go blank! But I really want to see her and see if she acts like nani. I'm so torn. I am not getting her but I'd love to take her on a walk. But I am also afraid I'll be walking away in tears then come running back and adopt her. Maybe I should rethink visiting her after all

I know you have such a BIG heart and wonderful attitude for our for legged friends, but let's be honest....can your pocketbook stretch for another pooch, or will it snap? You know as well as I do as soon as you get in that car you mind will already be made up to bring this dog home. Should I hide the car keys from you? hahahah

yes hide them far far away! No my pocket book is stretched already. All my dogs get raw only including my cat. I always take them to the vet and do whatever is needed. But one can only do so much. I also only have so much time. All my animals are my kids and another kid would just take time away from them. I pay for obedience lessons once a week for Nani to do his scent work and such plus all the other stuff I buy them. Not to mention Zedd ihs really settled in the family and my other animals have settled in w/ him.
I still would like to meet her. All I have to do is think of my dogs and I won't have a problem not bringing her home. As much as I would love to adopt her I know my limits and it would be unfair to all even her. I wish I could find her a perfect home.

Ok....now I want you to read back the first paragraph in your last post Nana......nix out the second paragraph and you have your answer. Don't let your heart over power you. I am not being cruel, and I know exactly how you are feeling. I have three BIG dogs right now and would give my eye tooth to have a great dane. Would my husband let me have one?.....ummm after talking and crying and having hissy fits I know he would give in. The question is, can I afford another dog right now?.....The answer is NO....unless I put in more hours at work which means I would have to be away more hours from my dogs. It would not be fair to anyone including the new dog. Is the shelter this dog in a "no kill shelter?" If so sit back and wait.

we are very lucky to have a good shelter. It is not a no kill shelter but I'm pretty sure that she won't have a problem being adopted. Our shelter is huge and it has all sorts of facilities like training and such. The community provides a lot for them. They have lots of money to go around I don't know if you read her profile but it says she only has one eye. For some reason that type of thing pulls on people's heart strings so she'll probably go fast. What I would ultimately want is someone I know to adopt her so I can see her.
hint hint Savage Des. ..jk you're in the same boat as me

I have the perfect thought for you to keep in mind when you get tempted about her:

Think of how upset Naniboo would be at ANOTHER new dog taking up your time!

She is really really cute though.. I wonder if she is a Naniboo sister? I can't get another dog though... Chris would kill me, Monstee would kill me, and my bank would kill me... Riddle would be happy though.
