ex stud dog GSD in rescue

I'm amazed, actually having spent so much time with rescues I shouldn't be but today I see they have a 2 year old male GSD in the rescue - who has just been retired as a stud dog.... WHAT???? being retired at 2 years - surely he should only just be starting at this age????? I guess this means he's had no health tests and probably came from a BYB since he lived all his life in a pen as well It's a good job I don't know where these people live...

Doesn't he have just the sweetest face:

He likely was bred to stud but failed to measure up. Retired sounds so much better than thrown out.

He has a nice face.

Yes, retired is much better than what could have happened to him. Apparently he whined and whined on the first night he was there but then they got another ex-breeding bitch in the next day who kept him company - then he was happy
