"Zeb"

This guy is in my local Humane Society.

They say he is an owner surrender, I am going to try to get involved and help him. They say he is 5 years old. Thats a GREAT age for a Doberman. He looks so bad.

He looks horendous. What the **** did the owner do to him??? Why wait til he's starving and barely able to stand (by the picture) to surrender him.

I know why I can't work at a shelter. I'd have taken that owner to the parking lot for an introduction to pain & suffering.

Poor guy breaks my heart. I hope he finds an angel to take him home forever.

He actually looks like a very THIN baby moose. Now that is not right! I'm glad the owner finally gave the dog up. Another week and it would have probably been dead!

dobermom, if someone turns in a dog like this to a rescue...can't the owners be turned into the police for animal cruelty? and if so, how often is it done?
