Question how much did your rescue/pound puppy cost?

How much did your pound puppy/rescue cost? Prices vary so greatly and I am wondering what the fees are like in differently places.

I paid $300 for Tank and was refunded $100 when he was neutered, so he cost me $200 total.

When I had gotten Ginger 10 yrs ago it was $35. Now it runs anywhere from $50 - $115 for dog/puppy all spay/neutered. I know the Peke rescue charges about $250 for their dogs.

Sampson was $98 from a no kill shelter already neutered.

Toby was $250. (The adoption fee for dogs at that shelter was $175. They already knew I wanted him and was going to take him and at contract signing it said I owed $250. Her reason for the added price: He was a designer breed and in high demand. High demand, Toby was at this shelter for over 3 months )

Well Kota isn't a rescue. But my cat Puff is. He cost me $60 just for the adoption. And he was already up to date on his shots and neutored.

Meka was 250.00 spayed, and up to date.

Dana was a freebee, they even payed my gas money to travel out to get her! She was not with a rescue, just a nice man that helped her out.

Roxy and Hades are what I call rescues, not from a facillity though, so they were free.

My parent's adopted a dog about two years ago from our local shelter and he was around $115, plus half off his neuter and a free set of obedience classes at the local kennel club.
