I have this dog, his name is bambi (i posted about him a while back)well this little man has refused to eat, he wont eat anything, not even his favorite food. He walks around almost never and keeps his tail into his body. He has been throwing up and has watery diarreah. He is starting to look emaciated, he does however drink water. Is there any way I can get him to eat food, or force feed him, or is it time to take him into the emergency vet clinic?

If he's starting to show the weight loss, I would take him to the vet within the next couple of days. Sooner is better but not an emergency. This just isn't normal. I would not wait until he is in distress or has lost too much of his ability to fight a disease.

How long has this been going on, get him to the vet. It could be some thing as simple as worms .

Take him to the vets before you lose him.
24-48 hours of the runs, especially watery is bad news.

It could be another case of Parvo on our hands here.

Soften his food with smoe warm water to see if maybe it's because of tooth pain. Try sneaking some vitamin supplements into his water while he's still drinking water so he can have that going for him. You may also try to put some vitagravy in to see if that helps him at all. Boiled chicken (without salt), pumpkin, and rice are all good healthy foods that don't upset the stomach. Try getting some fattening treats down him. Whatever you can do will help. And take him to the vet!!

Hi, that sounds a lot like some of the symptoms my dog had. We just found out that he has Addison's Disease about 2 days ago. I would definitely get your dog checked out!!! Or google "Addison's Disease" online to see if there are other symptoms on there. It could very well be something else but I just wanted to let you know that because a lot of times it is mis-diagnosed.

The symptoms my dog showed before we took him in to the vet...:
*Sluggish, just layed around
*Ate NOTHING, but drank water/licked ice cubes
*Started to look noticably skinnier
*Dry/crusty nose
*Some vomit
*Diarrhea
*Tail not wagging, not happy

Good luck please let us know.
