Hi all,

Does anyone have any suggestions on dog food brands that are considered healthy and nutritious for a puppy?

I have always raised mine on Pedigree Puppy. Not too much of the tin stuff, if gives the runs, more the dry food.

Pinnacle is one of the few kibbles my dog would even look at. There is also Flint River Ranch, Natural Balance also have good ingredients. Your best bet is to do some research and find the best quality you can afford.

Avoid by-products and fillers like corn and brewers rice. Also avoid meals that don't specify what kind of meat or poultry it comes from.

It's a very controversial issue and you will certainly recieve a huge variety of suggestions.

Do you research and good luck.

Innova Puppy!! This is one of the best dry dog food brands I have come across. It has no by-products or meat and bone meal or ground corn, all of which are NOT good for dogs!
