Biospot?

I usually get Frontline for the dogs but my mom was wanting to go with Biospot. I am not familiar with the product, does anyone have input?
Thanks in advance!

frontline plus all the way for me. as a matter of fact, I have begun buying the largest size and splitting it for the dogs. it's much cheaper and I get the same results. (great idea for multi-dog homes)

Do not use it!!! Use Frontline plus, most vets will give a deal on if you buy a six month supply you get 1 free. Same with heartworm meds.

I thought about that, I asked the vet tech about it and she advised against it because thats not the proper way to use it. I know ppl that have done it and all was fine.

Yea I told her I don't want to change what I've been using forever!
She called and said whatever I decide lol
I doubt anything will sway me from my Frontline (plus) cuz I am old and set in my ways! AND I know it works.

it doesn't make sense why it wouldn't work? seems like a money making scam to me.

I was searching the web and also found BioSpot. I made the mistake of purchasing it because it was really inexpensive and was through a Vet Site & Magazine I was recommended. Prior to applying it, I went on E-pinion to look up any reviews.. Am I ever glad I did. The reviews were either excellent or very poor, virtually no middle ground. The poor reviews were not worth the possilbe risk to any of my dogs (includes my foster dogs)! I did not use it. I went to my tried and true Advantage.
I've used Advantage for years. Where I live ticks aren't very common at all so I'm using just the flea treatments. I would use Frontline if ticks were an issue.
FYI.. if you get either one online, you can save $$$. My vet tech also told me that Advantage (NOT Frontline) can be properly measured and applied to cats & dogs. It's the same stuff. You just have to have the proper measured amount which I do. I use the syringes with the cc listed on them. In 8 years, no problems with my fur balls and no flea problem either.

I've used biospot and had no health issues with my dogs.
It works well on my hova but Priska would get allergies,on her tummy.
I am back to using frontline cos Priska is allergic to fleas and it works, betterl.
I can put the frontline every 3 mths without any feas but it's only efficient for 1 mth,on ticks.for the ticks ,I use the Preventic tick collar that is efficient for 3 mths.
