HELP He wont stop sleeping...is he sick??

Okay so this started this weekend, where Hudson hasnt been his normal spunky self...he is walking around all slow like with his head down, then last night I got home from the boyfriends after spending the weekend there, and Hudson went straight to his bed, I asked him if he wanted to go pee, he just looked at me and put his head down.

So I let him sleep in my bed, thinking he is going to wake me up during the night to go pee (I went to bed early), but I woke up this morning and he was still sleeping, I had to force him to go outside to pee and he went pee but then wanted right back in...this is strange because he loves just being out there sniffing everything.

When I let him in he went right back to his bed, when I left he didnt even get up to get his cookie. My little bro was home all day today so I called around 3 to see how he was doing and guess what he was sleeping and had been all day.

What is going on with my pooch? Why is he sleeping so much? Is he going thur a growth spurt(he will be 2 on the 11th)?

Any help or ideas would be awesome.

OHH he seems to be eating and drinking normally.

Is he eating and pooping normally?

Sounds more like he's pouting. Has there been a change in his routine?

I don't know what this could be since you said he was eating normal. Is his nose cold? Has he done this before?

It does sound like he is pouting, was he with you this weekend?

i'm thinking may-be it's the change in routine? may-be when you guys are at the BF's house he doesn't get to nap? so, the moment he gets home he crashes?

Maybe he is pouting HM...but still it's a good idea to keep an eye on him. I had this happen with Uma almost a month ago. She would not even get up off my bed for a biscuit. There I was spoon feeding the dog yogurt because she would not lift her head up. I called my husband and he came home early from work so we could take her to the vet. Uma took one look at him and BOUNDED off the bed and was in 5th gear and wanted for him to play with her!
