springer spaniels - incontinance

Please could you advise me if and when springer spaniels may start showing signs of incontinance? Our Lottie is 11 years old and has had three accidents of the water variety in the past two days. She is going to the vets tomorrow but I was just wondering in the meantime if I can tap into the forums vast wealth of experience. I eagaly await any posts. Thanks

This may be a urinary tract infection. Bring a urine sample to the vet.

Moo has a good point...it can be a urinary tract infection so if possible bring a urine sample with you. Another thing....has your dog been on any meds? My 14 year old dog had a cold and a temperature...we ran her into the vets and the vet gave us certain meds.....while on the meds she became incontinent. After the meds everything was fine. Please let us know how you make out.
