Wow Pittie... sounds like... alot of work. I think you should take it as it comes, I'm through 6 months of agility training, and still not close to being *done training* so to speak.

I'm thinking about it. We're still on basics. Obstacles are the easy, foot work and pivoting, turning is a nightmare. LOL Head of the class, but still have alot to learn before we even stand a chance in fun matches. I really want to do flyball, which I thought I might do in conjunction with agility training, but there are no clubs near here... and I don't know if I'd be able to handle all the command juggling.

I'm not going to be doing competitive Agility.I'm only doing it to give her something to do...The skijoring would be wickedly fun! If you know what I mean, but I live in Oklahoma,so it's really hard to do Skijoring competitions here.

Pittie, that is a lot of work..
Agility training is very time-consuming.. It takes quite a while to teach the dogs how to correctly run the obstacles, and THEN teach them to run them on command (a lot of commands) and THEN teach them to do their obstacles in a sequence while they are running, and finally work on their speed and accuracy. Basically, until the dog retires, agility training, especially if you compete, is never really "done".
I think Osha will do well in agility, though! (You'll have to get pictures for us once she starts her training)

edit: Ah whoops... you posted right before me, I didn't see that you weren't going to compete.

Woah, Pittie. I hope you have alot of time on your hands.

I've never skiied a day in my life. lol.

Actually, before your quiz, I never heard of skijoring. It doesn't really snow here, so I couldn't if I wanted to. I think it's more popular in Europe than North America.

Skijoring would be fun if I had a breed more inclined to pull. (Of course, where I would get the snow is another question entirely ) Border Collies have almost no natural instincts to pull forward and drag you, they prefer to work beside or behind you.
And Ripley.. LOL! That makes me laugh just thinking of him pulling me along on skis.

Wait a sec! Who is Baby? Do you have a new addition???
