Update on Mel's Vet Visit

Good news! The growth we found on Mel was benign. Our vet withdrew fluid and gave us the good news in the office. It does have to be removed due to the location and he has a new skin growth that needs to be removed. He told us tumors and growths are common with Rottweilers and Dobermans.

He also has a condition with this throat, which is not serious, it has something to do with the trachial passages that do not always open all the way....can be fixed or left alone if it does not get any worse.

Thank goodness all of his ailments will be taken care of at one time in about one week.

He is such a good boy at the vet, they love him there because he is such a big baby He weighed in at 108 lbs today.

Great news alimel...sometimes our animals can worry us to the point of grey hair. Maybe that's because we love them so much.

I know the feeling!.
My golden was just operated on for a mammary mass that turned out to be benign.
The most difficult part of the recovery was to keep her calm for 2 weeks.
Do keep us posted on when you're going through with the operation!.
