Going to start own flea circus

I am so fed up with the fleas. We have tried everything I can think of and the dang dogs are filled with them. This is what we have tried. We have tried the K-9 Advanix, Frontline, vet stuff, over the counter stuff, garlic pills, spraying them daily, batheing every other week. I am out of ideas as to how to get rid of them. We have bombed the house. Is there any other solutions to fleas. I thought about Skin So Soft from Avon. But first we need to kill the ones they have.

I have found that the biggest help for getting rid of the fleas was to treat our yard for them. That has really made a big difference. Just make sure that you get a treatment that isn't harmful to your pets.

Unfortunately that won't work. We live in rural Arkansas in the middle of a hay field and the dogs rump and run where they want to. But thanks

Do they have a outside bed or some place outside they like to chill out? If so I would treat that area.

If you have carpet, try Borax. Sprinkle on the carpet, let it sit for about 30 minutes then Vacuum. Empty bag and discard!

I live in Oklahoma and it seems like the rain has made them worse (along with the mosqitos). My sister is having a time with the fleas too. Nothing seems to work. One of her dogs has them so bad that when she bathes him (which seems like it's every other day!!) the blood pours off of off him. It seems like they start with the cats and end up on the dogs. They'll get rid of them and then the cats will come around. They have an 8 week old kitten (inside) who is covered with them!!! Thank goodness I haven't brought any home to my puppies!!!

You may not have any choice but to have all your animals dipped and on the same day have your house bombed. If you have any type of rugs or carpet believe it or not a flea can lay dormant in there for up to 9 months.

Yes. Adams flea and tick shampoo. The first year once or twice in the summer, last year every 2 wks and we didn't use the advantage cuz it didn't work the year before. But yes we applied every 30 days. Well I just now gave one a bath do I apply the advantage or the flea spray?

Did that 2 years ago when the advantage didn't work and we have no carpets. It did not work.
