How long does it,take for inside stitches
to resolves?.
Priska was operated,a month ago and I can still feel some. |

It should take 10-14 days to disolve, but Dax is right. I have heard of cases where the stitches do not disolve completely. It will not hurt Priska, but knowing it's there would kind of bother me.

It could take 2 weeks to a month for the stitches to completely dissolve. I agree that you may just be feeling scar tissue.

One inside stitche has pierced the skin and you could pull on it but I don't dare!!.
It doesn't seem to bother her. |

Well, knowing me, and that is just me, I would pull it....it's likely just hanging there just inside the skin. If you don't pull it don't worry about it....she will find a way to get rid of it, or her brother will!

I did pull ,a bit and the knot came up so I cut it and then,it all came out.
So Mara,thanks for giving me the B...s to do it. |

Actually subcutaneous/soft tissue suture (absorbable), can take up to 6-8 months to completely absorb. The suture that is skin, and not absorbable, is removed 10-14 days afterwards because the skin heals quickly and you don't need to keep those in.
