How long does it,take for inside stitches

to resolves?.
Priska was operated,a month ago and I can still feel some.

I thought it was 10 days to two weeks. Maybe it's scar tissue that you feel.

I've heard that some do not dissolve but don't cause any problems.

It should take 10-14 days to disolve, but Dax is right. I have heard of cases where the stitches do not disolve completely. It will not hurt Priska, but knowing it's there would kind of bother me.

It could take 2 weeks to a month for the stitches to completely dissolve. I agree that you may just be feeling scar tissue.

One inside stitche has pierced the skin and you could pull on it but I don't dare!!.
It doesn't seem to bother her.

Well, knowing me, and that is just me, I would pull it....it's likely just hanging there just inside the skin. If you don't pull it don't worry about it....she will find a way to get rid of it, or her brother will!

I did pull ,a bit and the knot came up so I cut it and then,it all came out.
So Mara,thanks for giving me the B...s to do it.

Actually subcutaneous/soft tissue suture (absorbable), can take up to 6-8 months to completely absorb. The suture that is skin, and not absorbable, is removed 10-14 days afterwards because the skin heals quickly and you don't need to keep those in.
