RC's update...mmm goldfish...

It started yesterday with Dakota. She messed in the living room. It was very runny. She NEVER messes in the house, well none of them do, so you can imagine how badly she must have felt to do so. Then, it happened a second time. We guessed it was still Kodie since I had Faith with me and Bailey was down stairs at the time. We know Kodie went at least one other time outside and it was runny. Faith went outside with semi-runny one time. Then, this morning, Bailey was the only dog in the open area of the house. Faith and Dakota were locked upstairs all night and Charlie was locked in the basement. And sure enough, when we woke up, it was all over the living room.

I got pumpkin right away last night and gave it too all the dogs. It didn't work. Pumpkin has NEVER not worked for me. So, my mom is picking up some childrens kaopektate tonight.

I am guessing they got into something since Bailey and my dogs are not on the same food. Bailey is being VERY slowly switched from Nutro to Chicken Soup FDLS, and my girls are on Canidae.

Any ideas as to what would make an entire household of dogs sick?

YUCK! Either they all shared something they shouldn't eat, or they're all passing around a virus.

Buy lots of Nature's Miracle, RC.

How about incorporating some rice in their food RC? Or better yet give them each a pepto tablet.

Half of their dinner was rice last night and I am fasting them till dinner this morning. Which means Faith will throw up tummy acid, poor girl.

Oh no RC...the pukes and the poops? Not nice at all! Can't you give faith anything so that her stomach will not react to acid and then she will vomit? What about even a piece of dried toast?

They are doing now. They still have runny poo, but it's only when they go outside. It's at least under control now, for the most part.

Better outside of the house then inside. I hope this "bug" that they have goes away quickly.
