This girl need a home desperatly.

Hi folks,

I am Raymond R. Abney Jr., Adoption & Rescue Coordinator at the
Caddo Parish Animal Shelter in Shreveport, Louisiana.

I have a cat which was owner-relinquished because the owner is
pregnant. The cat, Gracie, is a beautiful Blue Point Siamese.
She is a female, altered, 9 yrs. old, and has diabetes. She
receives 2 units of insulin once a day.

I was lucky enough to have placed her in a foster home, but her
time is running out. Please see if we can find sweet Gracie a
forever-home. She is wonderful with people, dogs, and other
cats. She is also staying in a house with birds and pet rats.

Feel free to contact me anytime.

Your friend in animal care,

In memory of my dear "Fat Cat" (killed: 7-06-07)

I've seen this more and more at our local humane society as the excuse for giving their dogs or cats up. It angers me to no end. They were the first kids in the home!
What ever happened to "commitment"??? I guess everything and anything is disposable anymore.
