jack was bad

Well, we are in the process of moving. We brought Jacks cage over to the new place but we went out for new years eve so we put her in the bathroom while we were gone. When we got back she had ripped up a hole in the carpet. like she was trying to dig her way out. There goes the security deposit.
Then, this morning I was taking her out before we left today and there was a guy who was walking 3 dogs so I held onto her until they were out of sight. As soon as I let her go she darted towards them, ran across the street to them. There was some major dog barking, but nothing really happened excepted that the guy that was walking them was yelling at Jack I don't blame him, it was my fault from now on her butt is on the leash. So that is the begining of my 2005.

So, it should get better from here LOL. It will take some time to adjust for both of you. Just remember that all bets are off on what's been learned until proofed in the new location.

Give lots of encouragement for good behaviour and it should come back on track.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Like Dax said, you need to start back at square one in the new place. Things will only get better!

She did all this at the old place because we had already moved her cage to the new place and didn't have anywhere to put her, safest place was the bathroom.

Oh, I thought it was at the new place. Well either way it will take her a bit of time to adjust. Remember to be patient with her, even when your at your witts end!
I was there with Meka the other day! My backyard is sooo muddy, so I took her out front to potty. I tried on and off leash, nothing. We came in she cried at the backdoor to go out. Took her out front again, nothing! This was first thing in the morning and we were at it about 45 min. I know she had to go. Finally I caved and let her out back. She peed almost instantly! I guess she must like her privacy! lol

That is funny, she must have her preference. I hope jack isn't like that at the new place she hasn't done #1 or #2 there, but we haven't spent too much time there other then moving, in and out.

I'm afraid Jackie is going to go to obedience school.
