Danny is being adopted!!!!
Some of you might remember when I posted about Billy and Danny, two dogs at the rescue we volunteered there that had been there for a long, long time. Well, it says on the website that Danny is FINALLY being adopted! I hope this works out for that poor, poor boy. He's a great dog, just a hard one to adopt out. YAY!!!!

Yay!!!!! I remember Danny... and I remember wanting him
 I'm so happy for him... hadn't he been in there for like 2 years or something?

Yep, Danny had been in foster care for over two years. He still has to wait for a home visit and what not, but assuming all goes well, Danny finally has his home!

How could it have taken 2 years for someone to fall in love with that face??
 We're all sending Danny good wishes for a home and happy life for Danny!

Danny has both behavioral and medical issues. So, it was hard. Plus, the rescue has over 50 shepherds at any given time and it's only one of three giant shepherd rescues in the area, so it's hard for a dog like that. Too much competition.

Well, my hats off to the wonderful people who want to give him a home to grow old in and take care of his over all the "healthy" "normal" pups available then

I cried when I read that his adoption was pending. Now, if we could just find homes for Billy, Lily, and Cayenne, who have been there a while, too.
