Yesterday I was at my boarding stables with my dogs. One of the other boarders were there with her rottie. Both dogs have gotten along in the past but they were having a slight disagreement over nothing. Well anyways, Jack came running back to me being the typical baby that he is. I picked him up; yes I pick up my labs. I know that sounds insane. Jack actually holds himself up just like a baby. Well the rottie thought that Jack was hurting me so he grabbed Jack's rear leg and tried to pull him off. Jack was scared so he was put away for the night. He was moving fine yesterday as well as this morning. But I have him at work with me today and he won't put much weight on that leg. Should I give him time to feel better or does he need a vet trip again? There are no puncture wounds but I am sure that he is bruised and possibly some pulled ligaments/tendons. I can't stand to see him limping. I did give him a dose of aspirin but that was just about 20 minutes ago and he is sleeping right now. Any suggestions?

Yes, still a little tender on that leg but at least he is putting weight on it. I am a very over reactive mom. Thanks for the concern.
