asprin-hemroids?

My dog was taking asprin for a sore neck, but we think she may have ahd a reaction to it. My dad says it looks like hemroids. Now I have no idea what hemriods is, but it looks like balls coming out of her butt, and blood comes out every once in awhile.

We have had some problems with our new vet (we just recently moved) so we called our old vet and asked them what we should do. They said to take her off the asprin and see if she still has it. If she does after she is off the asprin to bring her in.

We took her off the asprin and its gotten better, but not completely. We are going to wait another week or so, and if it doesn't go away, we are going to take her to our old vet (the one who we called).

In the meantime, what can we do to make her comfortable? And what do you think it is?

Without seeing it.. sounds like hemmorhoids to me.

I think I'd make a trip to the vet a priority.. or call the old vet and ask about using hemorrhoid cream to ease the pain? I've never had a dog with hemos so I would just ask...

quoting from my vet's book:

Quote:
"Protusion of the **** tissue might be mistaken fro hemorrhoids; but for practical purposes, hemorrhoids do not occur in dogs"

Simple (not fully protruding) is easily treated at home. Irritated anus can be soothed by applyiing vaseline or hemorrdoidal prepartions used by people. Put dog on bland diet and feed small amounts more often.
Did I mention I love this new book!!!

Blistering Wind is on a distinguished road
Make sure it isn't the **** sacks bulging either. If irritated enough, they can bleed.
