Java's dry skin issues
Hi all,I havent been on in awhile, Ive been taking all the good advice I got a couple of weeks ago and putting it to good use.I switched my boys food and it seems that the major shedding I was dealing with has stopped.He still has some real thin spots but at least its not still coming out.I have started giving him some fish oil and just finished giving him a nice oatmeal shampoo,as his skin is still extremely dry.Its killin me to see him itching like this.

Well it sounds like he's coming along!
Is he scratching like crazy all the time? Maybe getting a cortisone shot at the vet could help temporarily until his skin isn't as dry, or some cortisone pills? It'll help the itching for a bit until the oil gets back into his skin at the right balance. Good luck with him!
