Question Am I spoiling Dasiy?

Yup this is Allie. Ok so I was talking to my sister and some other people & they are all saying I spoil Daisy becasue I give her 2 tablespoons of canned food when I give Daisy her kibble. I feed Dasiy twice a day:
1 1/2 cups dry kibble and 2 tablespoons canned food. I have tried just putting a little water in her dry kibble & making like a gravy, but it seems Daisy much rather have her 2 tablespoons of canned food over a water food gravy. So am I really spoiling Daisy by giving her the canned food so she will eat her dry kibble? I want her to eat her dry kibble not trying to eat food out of the garbage. Thank you all & have a great day!

Careful because you may end up with a dog who won't eat dry food by itself. If you have no intention of ever feeding dried food by itself, that's cool. Otherwise, I would altrenate, dry one meal, dry & canned the next.

For all the years I fed dry kibble I added a little bit of canned to it. Just a little bit.

No thats not spoiling her, when they tell you that tell them of all the people who feed expensive top quality fresh meat for there meals. I had a gourgeous long haired shep at the kennel i worked for and it only got fresh rolls of meat. I mean were talking 10-15 bucks a roll of meat and he got three a day i think. Thats as much as i pay for a month of dog food...lol

So no your not spoiling her, i also agree with moo.

No you are not spoiling her!! Mine get both wet and dry food (a third of a small can each twice a day)...I tried the Newman's canned food and they love it)! Plus they get their kibble. They have never had problems with this schedule and their coats are wonderful!! Right now, they're happily chewing on butcher bones!
