Are peas okay to give a dog?

Just curious if peas are okay to feed a dog (mixed with her dry and canned food together). I had put some peas in my dinner, but didn't use the whole can. (There's about 1/3 can left.) Since I won't be using them for us any time soon, I'm wondering if they would be okay to give Anka?

There are whole peas in some canned dog food, so I would think it's okay. I know my dog eats them, but not in any large quantity. I don't want to come home from work to green carpet.

Well, she sure did like them!

On another note, just before feeding, I let her outside to do her business. (As some of you may know, I'm an avid gardener in spring, summer, and fall.) Well, Anka went and did her business right where some of flowers live! I told her that I appreciated the fertilzer, but that we'll have to have a talk about that come spring time!

Hee Hee, don't do what I did though Joella, I went a bought this stuff called 'Keep off my garden', trying to stop Wally lifting on my best plants.
It was totally useless, Wally just ignored it, and the smell, I couldn't get it off my hands for a day. The only thing the stuff kept off was me.
None of my family wanted to know me.

I wonder if its anything like the stuff I got last year to keep the bunnies away (also worthless for its intended purpose, but the most wretched thing I've ever smelled in my life!)
