Little Denver is on his new Journey

My little foster boy is gone. He was handed over to rescue central last night about 8 PM. He has an appointment for a neuter on Saturday morning and then he will get his rabies and from that point he is ready for a new family. The rescue center has 4 approved applications waiting for the right dog to come into rescue. They are careful to match the family's needs and lifestyle with the personality of the dog. Right now our Denver will get a good evaluation and then will be placed with one of these families if he is a good fit.
Our other rescue Mickey will be adopted on Sunday by a lady who trains and works search and rescue. She said that Mickey will be a perfect companion to her GSD she is using right now. But because these dogs have to take long breaks from work she wanted another dog to work while the other was resting. Mickey's name will be changed to Magic. She said it was just magic that she found such a perfect pup in him. Her explanation was that she gave herself one year to find the perfect dog for the team, and the very first dog she looked at had all of the personality traits needed for training a good search and rescue dog. Congratulations to Mickey (Magic) and our adoptee for making such a good match.

I am so glad that thoses little guys have found a good place to call home for the rest of there life! And I want to thank you for being a foster mom for animals! I would love to do that but I don't think that I could. Because I would want to keep them all myself. Knowing that I couldn't keep them it would brake my heart to give them up.
