Depressed Bitch after losing pups

Kenya is still unresponsive and overly depressed over losing 3 out of 4 pups over the weekend. She now has an infection so she can't even have much contact with the last pup. She isn't eating or drinking much. Put her on a diet of rice and gr. beef. Any other ideas out there?

She needs to see a vet again. It could be infection or pain.

I'm so sorry about this!.Hope she gets well, soon.Did you take her to the vet to make sure that she doesn't have anything left,in her tummy?.What you are giving her, sounds good!.
Try this recipe,it might help it better!.

Plus once she is home give her a stuffed toy or two.It realy helped Daphney when she lost her puppy. She took that green bear everywhere.Even to the vet for her check up.I made sure the vet checked to make sure her babie was growing just fine, but he could not tell me what sex it was..
Sadly when she was feeling better she ripped the stuffing right out of it....

the bear really works, my six year old had a "falsie" and she's never had pups, she really wants to. she adopted a bear, puts it to bed at night and then in the morning she brings it to the window sill so it can "look out". it's really cute. well, not as cute as a puppy, but it seems to help her a lot. also the cat. she rolls her over and washes her>>>then the cat boxes her ears, they go everywhere together.
I am so sorry that she lost the pups.

Poor Kenya. Let us know if the vet finds anything wrong. It's hard on a dog to lose pups.
