Constipation in pups
Having a hard time getting a week old pup to go to the bathroom. She is on antibiotics, I stimulate with warm water but still struggling with it. Just switched her to formula fulltime yestrday. Anyone have suggestions that won't cause the poops

Either try a different formula which sometimes is the case or put some Karo syrup in it.

Wow, that's a new one for constipation. I've used it for hypoglycemia, but never constipation. Is this something that works just for puppies?

Another formula is not posible as mammalac is the one I have availible to me. I already put corn syrup in it as I lost one pup to hypoglycemia. I have a home made recipie for formula but hesitant to try it and back slide with Gracie. She is 1wk old today and has had a really rough start I would hate to cause her more issues. I have been resorting to 1cc soap/warm water enema when all else has failed. I know mineral water does the trick too but don't want to risk the poops with it.
