Lancey My Foster, Update
Lancey was slow to come out of her shell here, was adopted quickly and returned even quicker.
I've come to the conclusion that the couple who tried to adopt her had no idea what they were dealing with! Their dog was so extremely passive and submissive and Lancey is not. Lancey is also not a "mean" girl at all! She growls and makes a fuss with her tug-o-war ropes, whether anyone is on the other end of it or not. She might sound a little scary but her body language says otherwise, she's having a great time! She has also barked at me when she was trying to tell me she wants something. She's not well trained but I've seen much worse by far! I'm glad that she has finally got comfortable and is displaying all of her personality. She's a fun loving, active & very playful 2 yr old! She's Been Adopted!
I have this info in the 4 county adoption event as well.
Lancey went with us to the event yesterday and she mesmerized a retired school teacher that lives on a lake on 5 acres! He also needs a buddy to accompany him to Montana for his fly fishing trips! He was kind but not a push over and I really believe he will give her the extra training she needs to be that companion to him. I'm thrilled with her new home and I believe she'll be very happy there
