CRAZY rescue day!!

I was supposed to be going this afternoon to pick up a 3 year old black female Doberman(will post her story in a dif thread). This was arranged since Saturday.
Well, I was having a very hard time getting ahold of the owner, I figured she backed out. I have a spot for her with Mojos mom, I will only have her till Saturday. And actually she may already have a home.

So...since I thought she was blowing me off, I knew I had room for a foster still. I was running a few errands this morning, ran into a girl who use to work at PetSuites, she said "I'm at the Humane Society now" I replied with "I will stop in and see you."

So I did, I decided after chatting a bit, I would take a look around.

I found my next foster,,,,a 4 year old German Short Hair Pointer! He is THE MOST PATHETIC looking dog! He is WAY underweight, and heartworm positive. He was found as a stray. We are just trying to figure out how to transfer him to the rescue I am working with. Probably be splitting some costs.

Well, on my way home, after planning to pick up the GSP in the morning, I got a call from the Doberman lady! SO...I am off to pick up the Dobe right now, the GSP will have to wait till MOnday, but I still have EVERY intention on saving him!

Poor boy. I hope you can help him out. I know I just helped rescue pick up a German Wirehaired Pointer that has been bounced around in the shelter system for some time now. It's so rewarding to find these dogs a new, great home.
