Poppy's just back from the vets

She had her annual health check today - only the vaccine for lepto was required and they gave her a full MOT... she had her anal glands expressed (they were moderately full of stuff that should have been in there ), we got told to watch her weight (tell me something I don't know ) and the vet was very impressed that her teeth are still in great condition with no signs of tartar. She also had her urine tested for various things and that was all OK.

The vet also checked all the usual other stuff (heart, eyes, ears, internal organs etc), quizzed me about whether or not she had anymore bleeding episodes and asked about toilet habits

At the end of it all I was $140 lighter and Poppy was declared fit and healthy phew....

Sounds like $140 well-spent. Glad to hear Poppy got a clean bill of health!

We got 3 months worth of flea and worm treatment at the same time so it wasn't too bad really. I'm also glad to hear she was OK - after all the trials and tribulations last year....

You wouldn't believe how many times she quizzed me about Poppy's blood, bleeding episodes, bruising etc... it was exhausting! But it's nice to know they know her history and that they care

So... since she's all healthy we may need to see a lot more pictures of her.

Those tests, and full physical exam for 140 dollars is very resonable. I am glad things are going to well for Poppy!
