sneezing chihuahua pup

i have a 10 week old chihuahua and she is always sneezing. i think at least once every half hour. Is this normal??

Does she have any discharge from her nose or does she seem unwell? My dog sneezes but only when something irritates her such as when I spray my perfume or use talc etc. If none of these this are irritating her then I would say it is not normal. How long has this been going on for? It may be necessary to visit the vet.

Mischa, is it winter or summer where you are? Is she kept in a dusty area? Like baby said, if there is discharge she may have a cold or infection. She should be due soon for her regular visit to the vet. Make sure you tell him so he can check it out.

There is no discharge or any other irregularities, just the sneezing. It could be my perfume - i will stop wearing it for awhile and see what happens. Its summer here and she isnt kept in a dusty place at all. (im a bit of a clean freak)

Ahhh that may be why. In the summer, there alot more things in the air that could be irrating her. I think its normal. I dont know though. Maybe call your vet to get some info about it.

Yes, in the summer, alot of doggy allergies seem to come up. Our heat was a little late last year, and in september, Kirb developed these rashes in the pads of his feet, summer grass allergy.
