help with nails. :(

ok, Rudy's nails seems normal. They are open at the base of the nail, Jenna's are closed. I am having trouble getting Jenna's shorter. HELP!!!

Are her nails normal ? How can I get them like Rudy's or are Rudy's un-normal.I have never seen closed nails like her's before.

Here are pics of both.... Rudy's first 2 pics then Jenna's 3rd and 4th pic. What do you all think ?

I know they are a little blurry , I can take more if need be.

Well the nails look normal to me. Usually what I have to do with my dogs is cut off the tips of their nails weekly, which allows the vein to retract so that you don't cut it. Eventually the nails get shorter. Walking them on concrete also helps.

If you dont know when to stop(usually with black nails) is cut untill you see a gray dot in the nail when looking straight at it. Thats when you know when to stop because the bloood vessel is right after it.
