Exclamation Leash trainind a puppy

Hey

My puppy toy poodle is afraid of the leash if i just pull a little he freaks and tries to like fall on his back.nd pull as if it woud kill him .So i just let him drag it in the house.what else should i do to train him on the leash?

plzz help anyone

Don't pull it at all, you should never have to pull the leash, unless you are using a training collar...

Yes, let him drag it around with him for a couple of days, make sure he doesn't chew it.
Then pick it up, and follow him with it. See if you can give him in a stay, pick up the end of the leash and call him towards you.

ok thanx ill do that but he des not move at all when i tie the leash on his coller he just stands there or goes in his bed and sleep.He Wont learn that it wont harm him if he sleeps or doent move?If i call him he wont come cus of that!

Got Food? Toys? That guy must have a motivational weakness. Trying running around like an absolute nut, yelling and stuff.... It should provoke movement.
