a 6 month old golden retreiver puppy in rescue - he can hardly walk...

I hope the surgery helps him... this is a rescue that I do homechecks for but I don't visit the dogs since they are a 4-5 hour drive away.

That is so sad that these pups have to go thru that. Great that he is getting help.

Many Tears Rescue is in Wales - just over 100 miles from where I live. When we were looking to adopt a rescue dog, we enquired about a GSD there. He'd already found a home.

Poor Tamba He looks such a lovely dog. One of my neighbours works at a rescue centre nearby. She has an adopted Retriever, an older version of Tamba. He too has severe hip dysplacia and just like Tamba his back legs give out, especially the left one. He is having hydro-therapy treatment and it has really helped. He's such a big softy. He looks so much like Tamba that I wonder if they are from the same breeders

I'll have to let my neighbour know about this.
