Dodge Was Adopted Today!

For those who remember Dodge, he found an awesome home today!
I took the 2 boys to meet a family of 2 blind women, a husband and 5 childen. They really liked Waylon but then met Dodge 2nd and all fell in love with him. It was unanimous Quite remarkable that he won all of the hearts in that home.. oh, not to mention the beautiful yellow lab service dog! They were very smitten with each other.

Brief history for those who didn't catch his story: I was called by a gal at the local shelter begging me to please check this guy out. He had been hit by a car but escaped with nasty scratches and bruises only, thus the name they gave him.. he was also a skeleton. He was such a sweet guy but no one wanted him as he sat in the shelter for 3 months. So he dodged death row as well. He was definately worth the save!!
I took him in. Don't believe he had ever been in a house before but learned it very well. I also put some meat on that skeleton frame. He's filled out nicely since he got here.
He's now got a great future to look forward to

I looked back to his original post. He was here just over a month. I can't believe how far he came in such a short time! His weight and coat really turned around nicely. He learned house manners and was getting easier to get into the car too.
Such little things can go such a long way to bring about the very best in a great dog!

Yep, I know they're out there!
Waylon needs a JRT or Border Collie lovers activity level & intelligence in a dog is all
Sammie needs a one pet family that wants an already trained dog

Sammie is a cattle dog mix with a black & tan shep colored coat.
Waylon is a heinz 57. Acts like a border collie & tad bit bigger, long lankey limby body & all short black fur with brindle brown at the bottom of each leg. The only 2 breeds I've really seen in the litter is border bollie and pittie.
