Skin question

I've recently found out the benifits of feeding flax and brewers yeast to horses, and am itchying to try it in my dogs. Can someone help me out on the dosage for a 10 lbs dog?

You should probably check with your vet on the dosage

Well, brewer's yeast ( feed both by the way ) is a form of vitamin B and is actually what is left of the yeast they use to brew beer. Who said beer isn't good for you ! It is a water soluble vitamin, like vitamin c and will not harm your dog if you give a tablet, I use to crush it up but I just throw it in their food now and they eat it but if you are feeding dry food then you may want to give it in wet food ( canned ) or in a piece of cheese or a wiener , you get he picture.

Flax will not hurt you dog other then add more calories to the diet. It is an excellent source of Omega vitamins and fatty acids. Very good for the heart, joints, skin, coat and the well being of you and your dog. We give a capsule a day to our dogs. OR tablespoon of flax meal, I take it and give a cup of flax meal to our horses everyday. Here is a pic of Rudy and Jenna and you can see how thier coats shine, I would show you my coat too but I don't have a recent pic !
