Hi,

I am a new owner. My puppy is 6 weeks old and i was wondering if it is ok for me to give her milk during morning. Regular milk (those milk that you buy at supermarket)?

Please advice me..

No, they cannot digest the lactose, it will give her the runs, not a good idea at all. Your puppy does not need milk at all. Just fresh water. But if you want to go to the expense, or just for a treat, pick up some of the milk specifically formulated for pups from the supermarket. I use this when I first start weanining, but by 6 weeks I no longer give it to my puppies.

Or the newer product is puppy mush it is like regurgitated kibble, and you just add a few kibbles more each meal.

Like Eliierat said, they are lactose intolerant. You should feed them a mild food temporarily (until about eight weeks) such as pedigree puppy food. Add some lukewarm water to it so soften it.
