Hi,
I am a new owner. My puppy is 6 weeks old and i was wondering if it is ok for me to give her milk during morning. Regular milk (those milk that you buy at supermarket)? Please advice me.. Thank you |

No, they cannot digest the lactose, it will give her the runs, not a good idea at all. Your puppy does not need milk at all. Just fresh water. But if you want to go to the expense, or just for a treat, pick up some of the milk specifically formulated for pups from the supermarket. I use this when I first start weanining, but by 6 weeks I no longer give it to my puppies.

Or the newer product is puppy mush it is like regurgitated kibble, and you just add a few kibbles more each meal.

Like Eliierat said, they are lactose intolerant. You should feed them a mild food temporarily (until about eight weeks) such as pedigree puppy food. Add some lukewarm water to it so soften it.
