Food to cry over???

No this is not a thread about nutrition. When Ariel eats she seems to cry. There is quite a bit of tearing left on her face.

After she's eaten she wipes her face on the couch, my pants, my sleeve ... (You get the picture).

Is she that happy to be eating? Or something else?

Interesting. I don't think it would be happiness, however it could be excitement that makes her tear. Jenny's eyes get all goober coming out of them after a long run. So there's another way it could be excitement.

I wonder if it has anything to do with jaw muscles. Interesting Dax, I'll have to research it. I've not had a dog do that. Is she eating Tex-Mex???

I think it is one of two things...

One...Your cooking is REALLY bad

or

Two....try feeding her more then once a week.

It does not matter what she is eating. She gets it from kibble, raw dog bones, even cookies.

Thanks Tasha... lol

Well for what its worth, one of mine use to do that. To the point I spent a ton of money in allergy testings- came up with nothing. Then I noticed it seems to be the intensity- .. While blinking to a point is involuntary ( not sure if I am explaining this right) but I noticed if the dog was really intense on something, the dog blinked less. Thus since the body is already on autopilot with "tears" this builds up more. Then when they do blink, there is more " liquid" on the eye, and it gives the appearance of tears..

Nomad just drools a lot, but her eyes tear up sometimes to but it seems to only have been since it has been cool out. I will have to look it up.

I wonder if it has anything to with plugging of the tear ducts? Can't explain how this could happen but it's an interesting condition.
