Hudsons vet is thinking about starting him on a new drug...I dont know if IT is new but it will be new for him.
All I know it is an injection that is given once a week for the first four weeks then once a month for the next three months...then it is we will see how things go thing. The first injection is given by the vet...the next ones will be given by me. The drug is called...Carthophen Vet...she gave me a print out on it...but it is all pretty much in greek. For his first 8 injections it will cost me $150.00. Any info would be great...my baby needs help. |

Here is another link
http://www.arthritis.au.com/DMOAD.2006.FINAL.pdf Sounds great. It slows down the arthritis instead of just treating pain. 80% of dogs responded ... Sounds pretty good to me. I may ask my vet for it for Dax |

Sounds like a good thing to try. Though all meds have their 'draw-backs' this ones sounds quite promising. How long has it been in the market?
