You say the discharge is already a yellow/greenish color. Please get your pics up, I need to see those teats and belly. Plus the discharge if you can get it.

They can also miscarriage, if the dates are that far out, it is a possibility.

Yes , I got it... thought I might be sick , lol . Better get a stronger stomache before the puppies come .

It is normally like egg white right up till the last. Has it always been this color. BTW she is definately PREGNANT.

I have seen that discharge on every litter of pups, it doesn't occur like that till the last 2-3 days.
Have you had the pre Whelping vet visit yet?

See the bottom two teats, they look like they are wrinkled, if you touch them are the wrinkles actually like hard bumps?

Last night when I looked , it appeared more white to me , but I can't say before that , she never really lifts her tail , and I didn't know to look .

No , she still has to go in , probably next week . I did worm her , though .

They aren't really wrinkled , but rather bumpy - I can feel the blood vessels and milk glands in them . They are pretty firm , and very warm .

Well I hate to tell you this but birth looks imminent to me. See when the teats get hard like that, it is the milk coming right in, not just playing around if you get my meaning by that. When you express, is it white milk or like a clear sticky liquid, just small amounts?
Have you got a thermometer?

Yes harden that stomach, you aint seen nothin yet, it gets grosse, my hubby can't stick around at Whelping, turns his stomach the stuff I do.
Be prepared, it is slimy, black, green, wet, and lots of blood. And yep, she eats it. Oh and she can't eat all of them, you have to grab them off her after a couple or she will be really sick after...yummy.

It is white and thick , and now one of the next two up is expressing also ! What do you mean by imminent ?! If it's that close , why can't I feel puppies ?!

You should be able to, but it is hard, you need to know exactly where to feel, if she only has a few they may be high up.
Place her on her side, make sure she is really still. Now place the palm of your hand into her groin, the best way is to approach from behind, placing you left palm right into the groin so your fingers just come to the first teat (bottom ones, near vulva), now gently, and I mean really gently, just push your palm up towards her ribs, so that you have it tucked into her belly, but you musn't force, you just want a little pressure, now make her hold still and see if you feel movement, you won't feel kicking as such, just like a ripple effect.

I think I felt somthing ! I felt blood vessels , and hard little roundish things , and I thought I might have felt a little leg maybe ? Felt about this "----" big ! It kind of slid sideways on me . Oh , and when I pressed like you said , more of that slimey **** came out too .

Great advice,ellierat has given!You definatly have a pregnant dog that will probably be whelping before that "next week" vet visit!What preparation have u done to make ready for the puppies,and the birth?Do u know when the female was bred?
