Angry great dane shedding!!

Help! I have a black dane about 1 1/2 yr old cannot control shedding. Tried food additive, rubber/bristle brush, bath? 1 night in his bed looks like he should be bald!

Hee Hee, try having three labs! I have hair everywhere. Honestly, other than using Lambert Kay's Linatone, I found nothing else that will help as well. What kind of food are you feeding? The quality of the food has a great deal of impact on the skin health, which of course affects shedding. Other than that, it is just part of owning a dog. You will never be able to completely eliminate shedding. Wish I could help you more!

Somedays I just wish that I would have stuck with one color Lab. That way I could at least get out of the house with either something black and have no hair show or something light colored and have no hair show but right now it is hopeless. Maybe it is time for Greta and Tanner to get a hair dye.

I don't think that will work.. Yoda's mostly black - I wear mostly black pants to work -wrong color black... if I wear a lighter color -then the dark hairs show.. I think that dog hair has the characteristics of a chameleon

What? Go out with clothes not covered in dog fur? But then how will anyone know that I have dogs?

"Home is where dog hair sticks to everything but the dogs"

"No outfit is complete without dog hair"

Both saying are in my house. Both are 100% true!

This Christmas my mother asked me what I wanted for presents. I told her I needed a new winter coat, dressy. Well she had just been to my house and she saw that I had only about 5 coats hanging on my coat rack. She was puzzled. I said I needed one that was dog hair proof. My wool peacoats are just as blonde as Greta is! So I did get a leather coat. How nice that is. No dog hair what so ever!

I have cream carpets - why do you think I got a yellow lab and not a black one - yep, her dog hairs don't show up on the carpet - LOL. Yes, I know, mucky paw prints will but she's had been trained to have her feet wiped before she comes in the door!
