Barbie was seen and xrayed at the Vet today. She's indeed due any day now and the one film shot they took revealed 9 skulls!!! I hope that's all of them for her sake! But, at least she can deliver these pups!
I have to increase her fat intake substanially. He suggested bacon, cottage cheese, cat food, puppy food... She can have at it if that's what she needs!

EWWW don't give the dog bacon, that is full of nasty, icky, pooy things. If you can get her grass fed beef fat it is very high in Omega 3's. Get some marrow bones and boil em up. Eggs are good too.

I thought you all knew I had to pregnant fosters here!
I've had Barbie here since the hunters found her tangled on barbed wire in the middle of no where in eastern washington!

Then the humane society called and begged me to take the very preg shepherd mix so she wouldn't deliver in the shelter. Of course I said yes. Sometimes maybe I have more heart than brains but I always believe everything will work out! Meanwhile, I have 2 absolutely wonderful girls here that didn't ask to be in this situation but are doing wonderful in spite of it and truly have the rest of their lives to look forward to!

Dr. Y just mentioned that as both girls were homeless and are thin so he'd like to fatten them up quickly. I've got a few other tricks to try that I've been reading about..

Holy ****! That dogs a blimp! she is very cute but she really has gained a tummy since the last pics you posted! I bet she'll deliver like tonight....
