Atlas is gone.

I'm very sad. I had a good cry with Dustin last night. Dustin dropped him off at the doggie daycare that the rescue lady works out of. I called already and he is having a blast. She said Atlas's favorite dogs are covered in drool! Here's hoping he finds a great home.

No, we were just fostering him until the rescue lady got back from holidays. I told her if she has any problems we would foster him in a heartbeat.

Sand...I think it's really great that you realized your limits....as hard as this decision must have been you know it was the right one. Please don't feel guilty about it.......he's gonna be fine.

Thanks . I would have loved to see him go to his forever home, but I think the rescue lady wants to be a part of it b/c he is very desired and she wants to make sure he goes to a knowledgeable and serious owner.

Awww, Sandvand, I totally understand! BIG HUG!!!

I temp fostered a darling English Bulldog puppy I would have loved to have kept, but it was not the right thing for the dog or myself...it was so hard to let him go, but the big reward was the WONDERFUL "bully" home he did find! I think of him alot even though I now have my FABulous Chihuahua rescue girl as my very own...so, by giving him up to a better home, I was then open to allowing the sweetest Chi girl to come to ME...so this way TWO dogs found great homes...

Sometimes it takes time to know just how it'll all work out...but, right now, it's so hard for you, I know. Just hang in there! You did a TERRIFIC thing!

Major positive vibes coming YOUR way for being so sweet and loving!
