My Dad just bought a 4 1/2 month old english bull dog last night. She is more tall and thin then short and wide and her nose looks longer then it should. She "almost" looks like a boxer. Does anyone know if this is a common growth spurt for them and then they grow out?

Positive it is an English bulldog and not an American bulldog? English should be short and stocky from day one. I am going to see if I can find pictures.... I love English bulldogs. My brother wants one when he graduates from college so I have been looking in to finding a reputable breeder.

She looks like the english bull dog puppy in the first picture. but taller and not so much lose skin and rolls. Same face tho. The woman who is well known to us, bought the puppy from a breeder who brought her from Europe and she is faxing us the reg. papers today...she said english bull dog.

She is not really tall, the lady said she will grow out now, not taller. She stands maybe a foot off the ground.

I just deleted the first one, since it didn't belong there, was listed as a english, but not pure, sorry. I did that at the same time you posted I think.
