My first foster just left for her new home...

Hæ all,
I havent been on for a while but I wanted to share my good news

Some background
My girl Röskva(rottie mix) is now just over 10 months old. About 5 months ago I took Vaka(formerly Honda), her sister (littermate) in as a foster. Owners were inexperienced kids in their 20´s and were living in parents home, neede her fostered while finding an apartment. She was not potty trained when she came to me and the only thing she knew to do was "sit". She was poorly socialized, owners had no time for her what so ever and she was on a bad diet, matted fur and smelly.

After a couple of months the owners decided they could not take her back. I was actually
thankfull since these kids were in no way able to take care of her, let alone responsible enuff! She is a beautifull pup, very active and a complete goofball. She is extremely smart, very fast learner and is the happiest if she has something to keep her occupied. She is also an escape artist(opens doors) and very destructive when bored. To date she has eaten 1 curtain, large venitian blinds and 1 painting along with some furniture and varios other items. She is also a big dog, 75lbs and 26 inches. She is completely different from my Röskva who is much calmer and more laid back and also much, much more obediant.

Safe to say that this girl had to go to the right home with experienced owners!!

Thing is that there r not many homes that would take this dog in and even fewer tha I would approve. Either I had make this work while rehoming her or she would have been pts and for me that was not an option.

After 2 months of searching for her new home it finally happened, she left today for her new home!!!

Vaka
