Interesting site for all our rescue organizations and shelters.
http://www.petpopulation.org/statsurvey.html It does look like there is some progress being made in the USA. It is a very interesting site. Be sure to look at the top 10 reasons for owner surrenders.

Where do you see the top 10 reasons.
I also find it interesting that while most statistics are dropping owner surrender went up.

The first stats were up to 10 years ago. I wonder what todays figures look like? I'm really curious. I think the dog owner surrender list is basicly the same except 2 are the most common for us and the shelter the past year... New baby and Allergies
 I'm so tired of seeing, hearing & reading those 2 excuses....
