Kirby's Operation (Pic Post #50)
Kirby's pre-surgery fast starts now.
I feel so bad, I brought him to class tonight because his temperature was normal, the swelling was at about half what it was Saturday, and he wasn't bleeding. He was doing okay, other than snapping at the shih-tzu everytime it smelled his bum- except for the life of me I couldn't figure out why he had forgotten how to weave properly. He would enter right, and then either skip a pole in the middle, or miss the last one... Every time. And at first he was skipping the last one, the more we did it, the more he skipped. So here I am doing remedial weaving, then when we watch him more carefully we realize that he's hopping in some of the middle poles, instead of doing a one-step where he crosses his legs through each pole. That's when it clicked. We know that Kirby can weave, and the instructor asked if it was possible that his back was bothering him. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Poor Kirby physically could not finish these poles, and here I was forcing him through them over and over, accomplishing nothing.  Tomorrow's his big day. I'm going to be at work, and a nervous wreck.

It could be Moo, that the more agility you and Kirby were trying to do the more the dogs behind was flairing. I am hoping that this is the last anal operation this poor dog has to have. He sure has had a rough go of it these last few months.

You slave driver Mama making poor Kirby work when he's down on his heiney. Lots of hugs and kisses for Kirby for a successful surgery and speedy easy recovery for him!
  And one extra special one from Ginger who thinks she's got what it takes to keep up with him if he likes the bigger red head types LOL
