Not for the week of heart....

Okay if your week hearted when it comes to euth and such dont look any farther in this thread.

I was looking and researching rescues and found this on one of there websites..

This was taken from there site:
Quote:

THIS PICTURE IS TAKEN AT A SHELTER. THESE POOR DOGS AND CATS WERE PUT DOWN THAT DIDN'T GET ADOPTED.

IF SOMEONE HAD SPAY/NEUTER THEIR ANIMALS IN THE FIRST PLACE THEY NEVER WOULD HAVE BEEN BORN TO END UP THIS WAY, DEAD IN THE TRASH!

WHEN YOU LEAVE YOUR "PET" AT THE SHELTER MORE THAN LIKELY THIS IS THEIR FUTURE.

ITS NOT SOMEONE ELSE'S RESPONSIBLITY TO MAKE SURE YOUR DOG OR CAT WILL BE SAFE AND HAVE A HAPPY ENDING.

BEFORE YOU GO TO THE PET STORE AND ADD TO THE SUFFERING, PLEASE CHECK OUT YOUR LOCAL SHELTERS OR GO TO PETFINDER.COM, THE LINK ABOVE. THEN SPAY OR NEUTER YOUR FURKID.

WE CAN CHANGE THIS KIND OF SUFFERING JUST BY BEING RESONSIBLE "PET OWNER" AND SIMPLY HAVE THEM SPAY OR NEUTER. WE NEED TO STOP BEING SELFISH BY THINKING ANIMALS DON'T MATTER AND DISCARDING THEM BECAUSE IT GOT INCONVENIENT.

HOPEFULLY ONE DAY ABUSED CHILDREN AND ANIMALS WILL BE A THING IN THE PAST OR IN VERY, VERY SMALL NUMBERS, AND NOT AN EPIDEMIC LIKE IT IS TODAY.

There was also this which i liked i think its been posted here before but...

Just so you know I DID NOT try and find this, I came across it just researching some other stuff and was very saddend do find it and it really hit me hard(I am crying now actually).

If more people saw this sort of thing, perhaps more would take spay/neuter more seriously! Current stats tell me that 8 of the 20 puppies born in my house a few weeks ago will end in this fate! I can't tell you how that pains me and drives me to screen the applicants so hard and give them literature and education first so that each dog has a better chance to NOT end up with this same fate...
As disturbing as this is, I think everyone everywhere should have to see it.

Even though the picture is hard to look at, it is the sad truth. To see that these poor animals will never see a loving family. To enjoy a warm bed, or played with by some child.
