How can they say she is going into heat if she just had a heat? If I call my vet and say I want a urinalysis done, they just do it no questions asked. I mean they'll ask what symptoms they're having, but if it's something I'm concerned about, they'll check it out.

If it's something you're concerned about, and they won't look at her, go elsewhere.

I would be very persistant with the vet. Maybe they did not understand what you are saying? Tell them that your dog is well passed her heat cycle and has some type of infection. I bet they would see her then.

Is she urinating more frequently or is she trying to go and cannot? I agree with everyone else, if your vet brushes this off and will not taker her in, it is time to find another vet.
