Kirby's Update

I wanted to thank everybody who stood by Kirby's sick bed while he was recovering from his operation, and let everybody know that we are well on his way back to old Kirbiville.

Based on his preformance in class today- which was horrendous, but fast and furious, and received more "Wow, he moves like a puppy" comments- he appears to be feeling much better.

He has control most of the time, but there is some leakage when he is very excited, and especially when he barks. That means that everytime someone knocks on the door, there's a tiny poop on the floor.

In general he is still a lot more tired than he was before, and sleeps deeply through the nights. Every now and then it itches, and he turns to lick it for a very long time, but not nearly as frequently as last week.

Otherwise he is very much himself, playing with his toys and jumping on his sister, except when they play, she's the one doing the zoomies, and he's doing the pounce-on-her-and-bite-her-neck everytime she passes him.

Sure. Unfortunately I forgot to take one right after he got his stiches out though.

Later on I'll compile an all about bums thread with pictorial.

This is Kirby's bum 1 week after stitches come out. Note everything is grey, it's scarring now. And you can see that he's been licking it non-stop.

9 days after removal of stitches

Ana gland abscess - Day one of inflammation

Day two after anal sacculectomy

Day 3 after anal sacculectomy

7 days after anal sacculectomy

10 days after anal sacculectomy
